The hugely popular ABC War on Waste TV series has more and more people wanting to know how to stop mindlessly filling their bins every week. In the grounds surrounding the Council Chamber on Sat 26 Aug, demonstrations and interactive waste saving activities took place alongside a free jumping castle.
Inside the Chamber the 3-part TV series was screened, a clothes swap took place, lonley plastic containers and lids found love again in the Plastic Perfect Match tub, broken jewelry was fixed, carry bags were made from t-shirts with nothing more than scissors and glass jars were unconditionally given and taken fromthe Glass Jar Bar.
